UWO Certificate Authority

The UWO Certificate Authority is primarily used to provide secure services using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Currently the use of certificates signed by this certificate authority are restricted to small local groups and is not to be used to secure web sites being hit by the greater UWO population or external users. In these cases please see the information on using Sectigo Certification to get a Certificate. As well they are used to secure resourses in private ip space with domains ending in .pri.

To connect to a site using a certificate signed by this CA please install the Root Certificate.

Revocation List

A Certificate Revocation List (or CRL) is a list of digital certificates that have been revoked by the UWO Certificate Authority (UWOCA) before their scheduled expiration date and should no longer be trusted
